The running mate to the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 presidential election, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh (a.k.a NAPO) has stated that the current NPP administration has built more roads than any other government in the history of Ghana’s Fourth Republic.

Interacting with media in Kumasi, Dr Opoku Prempeh said a chunk of monies borrowed by the government has been invested in the construction of roads.

Aside from the construction of roads, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate also spoke about other infrastructure and developmental projects that had been undertaken during their tenure.

He said the current administration had implemented successfully a National Identification System with the Ghana card, constructed more railways than any other government in the Fourth Republic.

He also stressed that this administration has constructed more infrastructure in Zongo Communities than any other government in the Fourth Republic.

He reiterated that the Akufo-Addo led administration has performed better than all previous presidents in the country.

He touched on numerous achievements of the government across the various sectors, appealing to party people to rally behind the NPP under Dr Bawumia to secure one touch victory in the 2024 elections.

“No administration has started 111 hospitals. No government in history of Ghana has built schools like Nana Akufo-Addo has done. No government has established universities like Nana Akufo-Addo has done,” he said.

He added no government has recruited doctors and nurses over 200,000 like what Nana Akufo-Addo has done.
